Gabby’s dedication extends far beyond the track. She is deeply committed to the environment and the welfare of Florida’s coastal wildlife. As a volunteer with Save Our Seabirds (https://www.saveourseabirds.org/) in Sarasota, she joins a team that rescues, rehabilitates and ultimately releases sick or injured wild birds back into their habitat For Gabby, volunteering at the Wild Bird Learning Center offers the same kind of focus and discipline that drives her hurdling: attention to detail, resilience in the face of injury or setback, and the satisfaction of helping a creature soar again.

By volunteering with an organization that receives thousands of rescue calls each year and offers public education about preserving habitat and preventing injury to birds, she demonstrates a commitment to community service and environmental stewardship.
